ZAPiT Games, based in Mississauga, Canada (near Toronto), was formed to create a game system specifically designed to meet the needs of the 21st century family. Its mission is to make the Game Wave™ family entertainment system the world's first choice in family gaming.

The game system comes with everything you need: the system, audio, video and S-cable, game console, game controller storage with 4 controllers and 1 game and additional games are $25 each.  This system is under-priced! The system has a retail price of $100. We added Game Wave to our Holiday Guide 2007.

Test Group:

In our test group we had 1 set of grandparents, 2 mothers, 1 father and 2 children (ages 7 and 9). We tried 4 games: Click, Letter Zap, Gemz and Lock.

This is one game system that can be played by all. The system is easy to connect and easy to operate. One of my favorite features is that it plays DVD movies as well as the games.

This is one system that you can leave in the family room and play on family game nights or with other adults. The benefit I like is that it comes with everything you need including 4 controllers and a storage case for the controllers.

Moms Said:

At first it was not another gaming system. After playing it was, “We will keep the Game Wave system in the family room.”  The other systems can go in the kid’s rooms or game rooms. Great family fun! The system is great for adult social gatherings as well as holiday socials. The value is unbeatable! The games are short enough to hold everyone’s attention. The kids loved playing Letter Zap, Click and Gemz. The kids want to play Letter Zap and Click over and over again and we don’t mind because they are educational!
